Secondary School Science Teachers required in Birmingham

PK Education are currently recruiting for Science Teachers/ Supply Teachers for schools based in Birmingham. We are looking for passionate and dedicated Teachers who wnat to make a differnece to the lives of young peeople. You’ll aim to ensure a healthy culture of learning and will support, observe and record pupils’ progress.Teachers must keep up to date with developments in their subject area, new resources, methods and national objectives. The role involves liaising and networking with other professionals, parents and carers, both informally and formally.

 

Essential for this Science Teaching role:

•             Recognised teaching qualification PGCE or equivalent (QTS).

•             Experience teaching KS3/KS4/A-level

•             Good classroom and behaviour management.

•             Extensive knowledge of the current curriculum.

•             Outstanding organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.

•             You will be required to do all planning, marking and preparation for the classes you are responsible for as well as attending school meetings and parent’s evening.

 

Additional requirements for this Science Teaching role:

•             Reference details will be requested prior to registration.

•             Current DBS registered with the DBS Update Service or a current DBS check under our clearance procedures.

 

Salary and Benefits for this Secondary Science Teaching role:

•             Competitive rates of pay from between £28,200 to £36,000 per annum (AWR Compliant).
