Secondary School Pastoral Manager

Pastoral Manager – South East Birmingham

Pay: £180–£200 per day | £900–£1,000 per week
Start: ASAP

PK Education is recruiting an experienced Pastoral Manager to join a secondary school in South East Birmingham.

We are looking for someone passionate about supporting young people, with the confidence to manage behaviour, promote positive attendance and provide effective pastoral support to pupils.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing pastoral and wellbeing support to students.
• Monitoring and supporting behaviour, attendance and punctuality.
• Managing challenging behaviour and carrying out restorative conversations.
• Building positive relationships with pupils and helping remove barriers to learning.
• Liaising with teachers, Heads of Year, SEND and safeguarding teams.
• Communicating with parents/carers and external agencies when required.
• Maintaining accurate records and following safeguarding procedures.

The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience in a Pastoral Manager, Head of Year, Behaviour Mentor, Learning Mentor or similar school-based role, with strong behaviour management and communication skills.
