SEN Teaching AssistantTemporary
PK Education are currently recruiting for SEN Teaching assistants to work at Special needs schools based in Birmingham and surrounding areas.
The pupils need support with communication and developing their social interaction with other pupils as well as tailored approach to their learning and achieving attainment levels. As part of the role as a SEN Teaching assistant you will be required to work within a classroom setting supporting a small group of students, you will work closely with an experienced SEN Teacher and additional Teaching assistants.
In order to be considered for this role as an SEN Teaching Assistant you will need to have had experience working with pupils with special needs, experience of working in a school or a similar setting, a good knowledge of the primary or secondary curriculum would be advantageous, as would a full UK driving licence.
SEN Teaching assistant Requirements:
Experience within an SEN school.
Be professional, punctual, and committed to improving the lives of young people.
Ideally have SEN experience.
Be resilient and motivated, with a positive attitude.
Have an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to undertake a new disclosure.
