SEND Teacher in Sheffield

Day Rate: £140-£211

Start Date: 22^nd April 2025

Location: Sheffield, S2.

About You:  You’re an experienced teacher with previous experience teaching pupils with SEND.  You want a new and exciting challenge working with a small number of students within your class, who may have. You’ve got strong classroom presence and want to enhance the learning of your students. You are adaptable in your teaching style and inclusive with lesson planning.

This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to work full time in a SEN school based in Sheffield starting ASAP or after the easter holidays to develop their practice in a supportive and caring environment. The school is a smaller school with reduced class sizes so learning can be tailored and more individually focused. The school specialises in supporting and teaching learners who may have a diagnosis of autism and some anxiety or mental health needs. This school is looking for someone to work full time long term.

As a Primary Teacher you will have:

• At least 1 Years’ experience working in a School
• Excellent communication skills
• A firm knowledge of the National Curriculum
• Experience in working with SEND students.
• The ability to build and maintain positive relationships, the ability to create a safe and supportive learning environment that celebrates learning.
