Are you an enthusiastic and motivated Sports Coach looking to inspire young people through sport and physical activity? We are seeking a passionate individual to join a welcoming school in Sheffield, supporting pupils both in PE lessons and across the wider school environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in sports coaching, fitness, or youth work who is looking to make a positive impact on children’s learning, behaviour, and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging sports and physical activity sessions.
• Support PE lessons and extracurricular sports clubs.
• Encourage teamwork, confidence, and participation among pupils.
• Promote healthy lifestyles and positive behaviour.
• Provide one-to-one or small-group support for pupils who may need additional encouragement.
• Work closely with teachers and school staff to create an inclusive learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience coaching children or young people in a school, sports club, or community setting.
• Relevant coaching qualifications (desirable but not essential).
• A positive, energetic, and proactive attitude.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting young people to reach their full potential.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
