Roald Dahl Competition

Imagine arriving at school one day to find it burnt down. Everything had gone. Including a school library filled with precious books.

When Team PK Nottingham launched a competition last month giving schools the chance to win a full collection of Roald Dahl books they had no idea this was exactly what had happened to the staff and students at Harrington Junior School in Long Eaton.

Whilst the blaze devastated the building, thankfully no children were inside at the time and everyone got out safely. Once we’d heard their devastating story and given our commitment to inspiring potential, we knew we had to act. To help kick start their recovery and to help replenish their library, Team PK has donated a full collection of Roald Dahl books and launched a competition giving every pupil the opportunity to win their very own Roald Dahl book.

Naz and Dan (aka Willy Wonka and Umpa-Lumpa) headed over recently to present the books and prizes and no doubt raised a few smiles. Don’t they look fantastic?!
