We talk a lot about inspiring potential in those around us. From our Schools and Candidates to every Pupil in every education setting up and down the country. But what about inspiring potential within ourselves?
Our CEO Karl Housley was genuinely inspired and humbled by the work he witnessed being undertaken by the team over at ‘Action on Addiction’. If you are not familiar with Action on Addiction, they are a UK-based charity that works with people affected by drug and alcohol addiction. They work in the areas of research, prevention, treatment, aftercare, as well as professional education and family support.
Their work inspired Karl so much that he decided to take on an enormous personal challenge of his own this year and run the London Marathon in support of Action on Addiction. We are proud to report that Karl completed the course and smashed his target to raise £1,500 by raising a whopping £1,905. What an achievement. What an inspiration. Karl, take a bow!
