MFL Teacher

We are currently seeking a passionate and dynamic Supply Teacher of French and Spanish to join a welcoming and high-achieving secondary school in Doncaster.

This is a full-time, ongoing role starting in September, ideal for a skilled linguist who can inspire students through engaging and effective Modern Foreign Language (MFL) teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality French and Spanish lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policy.
• Support students of all abilities to reach their full potential.
• Contribute to the wider school community, attending relevant meetings and professional development sessions as required.
• Ensure safeguarding policies are followed and pupil wellbeing is prioritised.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Specialism in French and/or Spanish (both languages essential).
• Proven experience teaching MFL at secondary level.
• Strong classroom management skills and a flexible, adaptable approach.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• A current enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one.
