Science Teacher – Sheffield

Location: Sheffield
Position: Science Teacher (KS3/KS4)
Daily Rate: £160 – £220 per day
Contract Type: Full-time (Temporary, with potential for long-term or permanent placement)

The Role

  • Teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology)

  • Plan, deliver, and assess dynamic and interactive lessons

  • Inspire students with a love for science and help them reach their potential

  • Ensure that all students are supported in their learning and progress

  • Contribute to extracurricular activities, if possible, such as science clubs and events

  • Maintain effective classroom management and contribute to a positive learning environment


The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent overseas qualification

  • Experience teaching Science at secondary level (KS3 & KS4)

  • Strong subject knowledge in Physics, Chemistry, or Biology

  • Excellent communication and behaviour management skills

  • Passionate about student development and education

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
