Teaching Assistant Opportunities – Sheffield
PK Education is currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our team in the Sheffield area. You’ll work across a variety of educational settings, supporting pupils both one-to-one and in small group environments.

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold an NVQ Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent – preferred but not essential)

• Have experience working with children or young people

• Be PECS or Makaton trained (preferred but not essential)

• Be committed, patient, and passionate about supporting children’s learning and development

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one and group support for children with autism, ensuring their educational and emotional needs are met

• Plan and implement individual learning programmes to support each student’s progress

• Encourage the development of social skills, confidence, and independence

• Use effective strategies and tools to support learning, including sensory enrichment and communication methods such as Makaton
