Teaching Assistant

We are currently seeking a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistant to support pupils across a school setting.

This is a rewarding role for someone who is passionate about helping children achieve their full potential and enjoys working as part of a dedicated education team.

The Role

• Support pupils in the classroom, individually or in small groups

• Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom organisation

• Help create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment

• Support pupils with additional needs where required

• Supervise pupils during activities, breaks and transitions

• Promote positive behaviour and support pupils’ wellbeing

The Ideal Candidate

• Has experience working with children (school-based experience desirable)

• Is patient, caring and enthusiastic

• Can work well as part of a team and use their own initiative

• Has good communication and interpersonal skills

• Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Requirements

• Relevant qualifications or experience (desirable but not essential)

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
