Job Description

A school is seeking a Physics Teacher to cover a period of paternity leave starting in early March. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Physics at KS3 and KS4, with some Mathematics lessons included where required. The role involves delivering engaging, effective lessons that support pupil progress.

As a Secondary Science Teacher, you will:

  • Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive, supportive learning environment.
  • Follow school policies and contribute to pupils’ progress and development.
  • Adapt quickly to new school settings and work collaboratively with existing staff.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching in UK secondary schools (NQTs / ECTs welcome to apply).
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • A passion for education and commitment to pupil success.
  • Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
