SEN TA with Team Teach

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team. The successful candidate must be Team Teach trained and have experience supporting pupils with additional needs, including those who may present challenging behaviour.
The Role
-
Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with special educational needs

Implement behaviour support strategies in line with Team Teach principles
-
Support pupils’ emotional regulation, engagement, and learning

Work closely with the class teacher, SENCo, and wider pastoral team
-
Contribute to a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment

Assist with personal care where required (depending on pupil needs)
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
-
A valid Team Teach qualification (essential)

Experience working with children with SEN (e.g. ASD, ADHD, SEMH)
-
A calm, patient, and resilient approach
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills

A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
