Location: Doncaster
Contract: Full-time
Start Date: Easter 2026
Duration: Until May Half Term
Salary: £170–£220 per day (dependent on experience)
About the Role
PK Education are working with a secondary school in Doncaster who are seeking a passionate and energetic PE Teacher to join their team from Easter until May half term. This is a short-term, full-time role and a great opportunity for both experienced teachers and ECTs to gain valuable experience in a supportive school environment.
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and active PE lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, encouraging participation, teamwork, and a positive attitude towards physical education.
Key Responsibilities
Delivering high-quality PE lessons across KS3 and KS4, ensuring all students are engaged and supported in their learning. Managing behaviour effectively and maintaining a safe and positive environment during both practical and classroom-based sessions. Supporting students’ physical development and promoting healthy lifestyles. Contributing to the wider PE department where required.
What We’re Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. A strong passion for Physical Education and the ability to deliver engaging lessons. Confident classroom and behaviour management skills. A proactive and adaptable approach. An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
