About the Role

PK Education are working in partnership with a secondary school in Sheffield who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term position within a supportive and forward-thinking school.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience. The role is suitable for both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to begin their career in a structured and supportive environment.

The Role

Planning and delivering engaging Maths lessons that challenge and inspire students. Supporting pupils in developing strong numeracy skills and confidence in Mathematics. Assessing and tracking student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback. Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom management. Contributing to the wider Maths department and school community.

What We’re Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics. Ability to engage and motivate students across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable). Strong classroom management and organisational skills. A proactive and reflective approach to teaching. An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
