The Role

As a full-time Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and creative EYFS learning experiences
• Help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment
• Encourage children’s social, emotional, and educational development
• Support pupils on both a 1:1 basis and in small groups
• Promote independence, confidence, and positive behaviour
• Build strong relationships with children, staff, and parents/carers
• Contribute to the wider school ethos of respect, care, and high expectations

Essential Requirements

Applicants must hold a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education.

You will also need:

• Previous experience working within an Early Years setting
• A strong understanding of the EYFS framework
• A caring, patient, and proactive approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for supporting young children’s learning and development
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
