Are you a talented artist? As an ethusiastic Art Teacher are you able to teach students a range of skills and foster a love for all things creative?
The large secondary school are looking for a passionate and highly motivated Art Teacher to join their well-resourced art department. The successful candidate will teach KS3 and KS4 art & design as well as key stage 4 photography to classes across a range of abilities. You will be required to plan and deliver lessons that engage and challenge students in order to provide opportunity for good progress to be made.
This Ofsted graded ‘good’ school caters for nearly 1000 students and through the delivery of top class teaching & learning they aim to deliver excellent exam results. In addition to students achieving academically the school also provides a wide range of extra curricular experiences to ensure learners are given the opportunity to develop into well rounded young people.
Teachers of all experience levels will be considered for the role, including NQTs.
To be considered for this Art Teacher role you should have:
Recognised teaching qualification PGCE or equivalent (QTS).
The ability to quickly build positive relationships with both staff and students.
Strong subject knowledge of the Art curriculum including the new GCSE.
Reference details will be requested prior to registration.
Current DBS registered with the DBS Update Service – if you do not have a DBS registered online PK Education will provide full assistance in getting you one.
