Behaviour focused SEN Teaching Assistant
Primary High needs ASD.
PK Education are working closely with a welcoming but high needs primary school seeking a confident and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Autism and complex behavioural needs.
This role would suit someone who thrives in high- SEND environments and understand the importance of consistency, especially within smaller school settings.
This is a long-term opportunity in a school where SEND support is central to daily provision.
THE ROLE:
- Supporting pupils with ECHP’s.
- Working with children diagnosed with ASD (including high sensory and behavioural needs).
- Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies.
- Working closely with class teachers and SENCO.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Experience supporting ASD in a primary setting.
- Confident managing challenging behaviour calmly and consistently.
- Strong understanding of routine, structure and regulation strategies.
- Team Teach trained (or willing to undertake training).
- -Competitive rates of pay from between £100 – £110 per day (AWR Compliant)
- -On the job training provided by the school
