Business Studies Teacher

PK Education is seeking a strong and enthusiastic Business Studies Teacher for a challenging secondary school in Newcastle upon Tyne.

The school is looking for a confident classroom practitioner with a passion for teaching, strong behaviour management skills and the ability to engage and motivate pupils. You should be comfortable using technology to support learning and able to build positive relationships while maintaining high expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging Business Studies lessons that meet a range of learning needs.

• Establish clear classroom routines and manage behaviour effectively.

• Use digital resources and classroom technology confidently to enhance teaching.

• Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.

• Work closely with colleagues to support pupils’ achievement and wellbeing.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching Business Studies.

• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

• Confidence using technology and adapting to school systems.

• A resilient, consistent approach and a genuine passion for helping pupils succeed.

• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
