Cover Supervisor

PK Education are recruiting for Cover Supervisors to commence after Easter on either a long term, short term or ad hoc basis in the Rotherham and surrounding areas.
Working at various Secondary Schools the role of the Cover Supervisor will be to work under the guidance of teaching staff to implement work programmes and students in the classroom, including whole classes during the short term absence iof the teacher.
The role will invoke supervising students on work set by the class teacher. You will be responsible for the preparing of the learning environment/materials and assisting with the management of student behaviour.
Other responsibilities will include:
- Recording and reporting attendance at lessons in accordance to the schools policy
- Collecting any completed work
- Responding and assisting students about the work that has been set
- Leaving the room in good order at the end of the lesson
We are looking for candidates who have experience of working with children either on a 121 or group basis, you will need to respect confidential issues and comply with the schools Safeguarding Procedures.
