Secondary Schools across Doncaster

PK Education are currently recruiting Supply Cover Supervisors and Sports Coaches to work in a variety of secondary schools across Doncaster.

Opportunities are available on a day-to-day, short-term and long-term basis, offering flexible work to suit your availability.

This role is ideal for individuals with experience working with young people, particularly those with a background in sport, coaching, education, or youth work, who are looking to gain experience in secondary school settings.

Role Responsibilities:

• Supervising classes in the absence of the regular teacher
• Delivering pre-set lesson work and ensuring students remain on task
• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Supporting students with their learning where appropriate
• Acting as a positive role model and maintaining a safe learning environment

For Sports Coaches:

• supporting PE lessons, sports activities, and extracurricular sessions when required

Job Requirements:

• Experience working with children or young people (essential)
• A background in sports coaching, education, youth work, or similar (desirable)
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Confidence supervising groups of secondary-aged students
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and a professional attitude
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
• Eligibility to work in the UK
