We are working with a wide range of primary schools across Leeds and Wakefield and are seeking passionate, motivated ECT Primary Teachers to provide day-to-day and long-term supply cover across KS1 and KS2.

The Role

As an ECT Primary Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
  • Adapt your teaching style to suit different year groups and school environments
  • Teach your specialist year group where possible, with opportunities to work across others
  • Follow school policies and maintain high standards of teaching and behaviour management

Roles range from daily supply to short, medium, and long-term placements, depending on your preferences and availability.

What We’re Looking For

To be considered, you must have:

  • PGCE or equivalent with QTS
  • Experience teaching in UK primary schools (ideally across KS1 & KS2)
  • Strong curriculum knowledge and flexibility across subjects
  • The ability to quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • A proactive, adaptable, and enthusiastic approach

A full UK driving licence is advantageous but not essential.

Pay & Benefits

  • Competitive daily rates: £150-£180 per day
  • 24/7 support from experienced education consultants
  • Ongoing feedback and career guidance tailored to ECTs
  • Opportunities to network with a variety of schools
  • Flexible work that fits around your lifestyle and career goals

Additional Requirements

  • Two professional references (requested prior to registration)
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
(If not registered, full support provided)
