PK Education are working in partnership with a welcoming and well-regarded secondary school in Sheffield to recruit a passionate and committed Geography Teacher for a long-term supply position (4 days per week).
This is an excellent opportunity for a Geography specialist seeking a stable, long-term role within a supportive and forward-thinking school environment.
The Role:

Teach Geography across KS3 and KS4
-
Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum
-
Assess, track and report on student progress
-
Manage classroom behaviour effectively to maintain a positive learning environment
-
Contribute to departmental planning and wider school life where appropriate
Key Responsibilities:
-
Deliver engaging and differentiated Geography lessons
-
Inspire and motivate pupils to achieve their full potential
-
Maintain accurate records of student progress and attainment
-
Follow school policies on safeguarding, behaviour and assessment
-
Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
Requirements:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
-
Specialism in Geography or a related subject
-
Recent experience teaching in a UK secondary school
-
Strong classroom management skills
-
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
-
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
