£210–£270 per day | £1,050–£1,350 per week
8:00am – 4:00pm

We are delighted to be working with an Outstanding-rated secondary school in South Birmingham who are seeking an experienced and committed Head of Year 10 to join their pastoral team from 9th February.

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a high-impact leadership role within a school known for its strong culture, exceptional student outcomes, and supportive senior leadership team.

The role:

• Lead and manage the pastoral care, behaviour and progress of Year 10 students

• Act as a key point of contact for students, parents and staff

• Monitor attendance, behaviour and safeguarding concerns

• Work closely with SLT, tutors and external agencies

• The role can be teaching or non-teaching, depending on experience

The ideal candidate will have:

• Essential pastoral experience (Head of Year, Assistant Head of Year, Pastoral Lead, or similar)

• Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills

• A calm, organised and proactive approach

• The ability to inspire, motivate and support young people through a crucial GCSE year
