We’re working with a welcoming Chesterfield secondary school seeking a committed Learning Support Assistant to join their team from September, on a full-time, ongoing basis.

What you’ll be doing:

• Providing one-to-one and small group support for students with additional needs
• Assisting in the delivery of engaging lessons alongside teaching staff
• Supporting students with learning, emotional, and behavioural challenges
• Helping to create an inclusive, nurturing learning environment
• Encouraging student independence, confidence, and progress

What we’re looking for:

• Experience working with children or young people (in school, youth work, or similar)
• A calm, patient, and resilient attitude
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
• A genuine interest in supporting young people with a range of needs
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for one)

Desirable but not essential:

• Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE, Level 2/3 TA, SEN training)
• Own transport or good access to Chesterfield schools
