In this role you will be required to teach across the curriculum and be able to manage different levels of ability within one classroom. You will need to have experience working with young people with Special Needs within a school or similar, and can identify triggers and different learning styles. Due to the nature of the environment the School requires a Teacher who can be empathetic and manage behaviour effectively.
Previous experience of teaching students with Special educational needs (ASD)
Be able to support the pupil’s social and emotional development
Ability to develop rapport with SEND individuals and their parents
About the role –
You will be responsible for teaching assistant both small and large groups of students with Special Educational Needs (ASD/SLD)
You will use resources to help each student understand and engage in lessons
You will plan and deliver effective lessons using the UK curriculum
