Job Description

Required from January 2020 a full time teacher of KS3 and KS4 Maths for a large secondary school in Gainsborough. Woking on a long term basis, the school have asked that both experienced and NQT teachers are considered for this post.

The school are looking for teachers who are enthusiastic about their subject and who are confident in their behaviour management strategies. You will be required to plan and assess work and will be expected to fully integrate within the department, attending after school meetings and on occasions, parents evenings. 

This is an ideal opportunity for a teacher of Maths, who has the drive, energy and enthusiasm to work with the existing team and to continue to build on the success and progress already made. You will need to have a proven track record of success in learning and teaching of Maths and should also:

  • Hold QTS or equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification
  • Have a good knowledge of the current National Curriculum
  • Have high expectations of achievement and behaviour and always strive to get the best out of your students
  • Be well organised and adaptable and committed to raising standards.
