We are seeking reliable, confident, and motivated Cover Supervisors to join our team and work across our partnership secondary schools in Rotherham.

This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates, teaching assistants, or individuals with experience in youth work, coaching, or education who are looking to gain valuable school experience — all while enjoying the benefits of PAYE employment.

The Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans in the absence of the class teacher.
• Maintain a positive and focused classroom environment.
• Manage student behaviour effectively, following school policies.
• Support students in staying on task and completing set work.
• Build positive relationships with students and school staff.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Experience working with young people (in education, sports, or community settings).
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• The ability to remain calm, confident, and professional.
• A flexible and adaptable approach to work.
• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
