£110 – £165 per day
This exciting Secondary Science Teacher position available for a long term role and starting in January 2020 (or sooner) is the perfect opportunity to join a desirable, secondary school in the South Manchester area.
Are you passionate about science? As an enthusiastic Science Teacher are you able to engage young people in learning about the laws of science that govern the universe?
This Science Teacher position will teach a variable timetable of both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 class groups. You will be required to plan and deliver lessons that challenge and engage learners across a range of abilities. Teachers who specialise in any of the 3 sciences will be considered.
This school caters for over 1000 students and is built on a foundation of high expectations of both staff and students. The school has high expectations not only of behaviour and achievement but also that their students act as good role models both inside and outside of the school.
When visited by Ofsted one inspector commented “there is a calm atmosphere around the school which is conducive to students not only making good progress but also enjoying learning”
Teachers of all experience levels will be considered for the role, including NQTs
To be considered for this Science Teacher role you should have:
Recognised teaching qualification PGCE or equivalent (QTS).
The ability to quickly build positive relationships with both staff and students.
Strong subject knowledge of the Science curriculum including the new GCSE.
Reference details will be requested prior to registration.
Current DBS registered with the DBS Update Service – if you do not have a DBS registered online PK Education will provide full assistance in getting you one.
