What We’re Looking For

We want someone who:

• Has proven experience teaching pupils with SEMH needs

• Holds QTS (or equivalent recognised teaching qualification)

• Is calm under pressure and thrives on challenge

• Understands attachment, trauma-informed practice, and behaviour as communication

• Can balance high expectations with deep empathy

• Has a brilliant sense of humour (essential!)

Bonus points if you:

• Have experience in alternative provision or specialist settings

• Can bring a creative or vocational specialism

• Love a challenge and believe no child is ever “too hard to teach”
