SEN Teacher

Job Description:

PK education is recruiting a Special Needs Teacher for a variety of teaching roles in a large Birmingham special needs school. As a supply teacher through PK education, we will be able to offer you a range of positions from temporary, permanent, long term and short term; full time, part time and excellent opportunities for newly qualified teachers. PK education supports a variety of schools across Birmingham with staffing and recruitment. If you are interested in working through PK education, please don’t hesitate to contact me to discuss.

Essential for work through PK education:

  • Recognised teaching qualification PGCE or equivalent (QTS or QTLS). NQT’s welcome.
  • Experience teaching one or more of the following – EYFS, KS1, KS2, KS3, KS4 or KS5
  • Outstanding organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Prepared to do planning, marking and preparation for the classes you are responsible for as well as attending school meetings and parent’s evening when required.

Additional requirements:

  • Reference details will be requested prior to registration.
  • Current DBS registered with the DBS Update Service or a current DBS check under our clearance procedures.
