PK Education are currently looking to recruit passionate, dedicated SEN Teachers to work with children and young people with Autism and SEMH needs (Social Emotional Mental Health) on a full time basis. The right individual must have experience working with people with disabilities and want to fully commit to this role.

The successful candidate must have experience in some of the following areas:
•Support / Care Work
•Working with Autism or through personal reasons
•Worked with SEN provisions / schools
•Youth Work backgrounds
The ideal SEN Teacher will be confident, caring and outgoing, with an ability to support children with a wide range of abilities and/or special needs. You must be committed to helping learners achieve their potential.
Ideally, you would possess a relevant qualification as a minimum, but assistance can be provided to help the right candidates achieve this.
You will have or be willing to apply for a DBS on the updates service and full assistance can be provided to achieve this if necessary.
Working as a SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for the planning, preparation and delivering of work for a specific class you work with.
You will be working with children and young people with varying levels of various meaning they often display challenging behaviours such as:
•Speech Language Communication Needs
•Lack of concentration / interest in education
•Extensive learning difficulties
