Salary: £96 – £100 per day (Experience Dependent)

Role Overview:
As a Primary SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing tailored support to children with SEND and disabilities across Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to Key Stage 2 (KS2). Your responsibilities will include:
– Supporting children on a 1:1 basis and in small groups to enhance their learning and development.
– Collaborating with teachers to deliver effective, inclusive lesson plans and activities.
– Assisting with the implementation of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and monitoring progress.
– Promoting a positive and nurturing learning environment to help pupils thrive.
Key Requirements:
– Previous experience working with SEND pupils or individuals is essential.
– A compassionate and patient approach to support children with diverse needs.
– Strong communication and teamwork skills.
– Resilient and patient nature, a 1:1 can be challenging but extremely rewarding.
– Relevant qualifications or training in SEND support is advantageous.
