Location: Near Ossett, West Yorkshire
Hours: Monday to Friday, 4.5 hours per day
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Long-term, term-time only

We are currently seeking a dedicated SEND Support Worker to provide 1:1 support for a reception-aged pupil with Autism. The child is non-verbal and engages in a lot of sensory play, with a key focus on developing communication. There are no behavioural or physical challenges—this is a calm and supportive role for someone who genuinely enjoys early years and SEND support.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience supporting children with Autism, ideally in an EYFS or primary setting
- Be patient, caring, and enthusiastic about child development
- Have strong communication skills and an understanding of alternative communication methods
- Be reliable and committed to making a positive impact in a child’s early education
