SEND Teaching Assistants – Worcestershire & Worcester

PK Education is now supporting SEND schools across Worcestershire and Worcester, and we’re looking for passionate and patient SEND Teaching Assistants who are ready to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people with additional needs.

With over 20 years of experience, we’re not new to this. PK Education was the first national agency to earn the REC Audited Education Status, and we remain independently owned by Paul and Karl — two people who believe in doing things the right way, not the fast way.

As we expand into this region, we’re committed to:

• Paying our SEND staff fairly, with rates that reflect the impact you make, and
• Offering schools an affordable, values-led alternative to traditional supply models

We are currently recruiting SEND TAs for day-to-day, long-term and permanent opportunities. Roles may be in specialist settings or mainstream schools with SEND units.

What we’re looking for:

• Experience supporting learners with SEND (e.g., ASC, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, SLD, PMLD)
• A calm, consistent and compassionate approach to behaviour
• Ability to build trust and routines with learners who need additional care and attention
• Experience with PECS, Makaton, sensory learning or Team Teach is desirable but not essential
• A DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
