Teacher of Engineering

Job Description:

PK Education are working in partnership with a Rotherham Secondary School to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Teacher of Engineering for a long-term supply position. This post is scheduled to start on Monday 5th November and it will continue on an ongoing long-term basis, covering sickness in the Design and Technology Department. This is a part-time position, working Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

As a Teacher of Engineering, you will be responsible for teaching engaging and inspiring Engineering lessons to mixed ability pupils. You will be teaching across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. In addition to Engineering, you will also be required to teach some other areas of Design and Technology. Due to this Teacher of Engineering post being a long-term role, you will also be required to plan your lessons and mark and assess the work of students. 

The school itself is a pleasant and welcoming school in the Rotherham area which currently has over 1200 students on roll. The school has been rated as ‘Good’ in OFSTED Inspection and boasts excellent examination results. The school is easily commutable from Rotherham, Sheffield and Worksop as it is located just off the M1.
