This exciting Special Needs Teaching Assistant vacancy is for exceptional KS1 and KS2 Special Needs Teaching Assistants to start work ASAP at an ‘outstanding’ SEN school located in Nottingham.
Special Needs Teaching Assistant responsibilities and duties
You will be expected to work 1:1 and in small groups with SEN pupils, including pupils with physical disabilities and with pupils who are behaviourally challenging.
You will be expected to support the teaching and learning and follow the school’s policies and procedures at all times.
To be considered for the Special Needs Teaching Assistant role you should have:
Recognised teaching assistant qualification
The ability to quickly build positive relationships with SEN students.
Resilience – you will have a strong work ethic and you will be proactive
