Teaching Assistant – Sheffield

Daily rate: £80-95 per day

Start date: Immediate

Are you looking to better your skills as a Teaching Assistant or are you looking for an exciting new career change? Are you passionate about working with children?

You will be working with individuals or small groups of students across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, Supporting pupils across all age and ability ranges. This role will require you to work both 1:1 with children and in small groups.

PK Education are on the lookout for someone who is an enthusiastic and motivated Teaching Assistant in the Sheffield area. This role would involve working in various primary mainstream and primary SEN schools.

Previous experience of working with young people in a TA role is desirable. A team player with patience, understanding and a willingness to develop is required.

The role will involve:

–          Implementing planned learning programmes agreed with the teacher. Understand and support independent learning.

–          Working with students for whom English is not their first language. Track and monitor student targets and EHCP outcomes

–          You will be expected to support the teaching and learning by working under the class teacher’s guidance to deliver material and interventions.

To be considered for this Teaching Assistant role you will need a Current DBS registered with the DBS Update Service – however if you do not have a DBS registered online, PK Education will provide full assistance in getting you one.
