Trainee Teaching Assistant – Full Time

Location: Sheffield, UK

Daily Rate: £90 per day

Role to start immediately with opportunities for long term/permanent contracts.

Trainee Teaching Assistant Minimum Requirements:

  • Available 5 Days a week (Monday-Friday).
  • Must complete an online safeguarding course (provided by us).
  • Must complete a Level 2 Teaching Assistant course (provided by us).
  • Once online training is complete, further face to face training will be provided over the Easter break.
  • Must have a current driving license and access to a car.
  • Must apply for an Enhanced DBS and add to the update service (PK Education can support you through this process).

Trainee Teaching Assistant Job Description:

Within this Trainee Teaching Assistant opportunity, you will be required to travel to a range of different schools across South Yorkshire, sometimes finding out the morning of.

You will be responsible for supporting pupils in schools and assisting the class teacher. Your compassionate nature, patience, and dedication will help create a supportive learning environment where the pupils can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
