PK Education Schools Cup

Five north east schools recently took part in the PK Education Schools Cup, a football tournament organised by PK Education’s SEND Manager, Adam Florance, who is based at our Newcastle office.

Adam is an FA qualified referee in his spare time, and decided to use his passion for refereeing to engage pupils with social and emotional health problems in sport.

The tournament took place at Goals in Sunderland and saw eight teams, all from Year 7-11, battle it out for the trophy and personalised football kits (designed by the pupils themselves).

Commenting on the tournament, one of the teachers who attended said: “The PK Education Schools Cup was a joy to be a part of. The pupils gained a sense of camaraderie throughout the day and were encouraged to work as a team and engage with pupils from other schools. Both staff and students look forward to being a part of this again.”
